Fees

We offer all government‑funded early education and childcare entitlements available in Brent. This page explains what funding is available, who can get it, and how it works at our nursery.

Government‑Funded Childcare – What’s Available
👶 Funding from 9 months oldFrom the funding period after your child turns 9 months, eligible working parents can receive up to 30 funded hours per week (term time).
👧 Funding for 2‑year‑oldsSome 2‑year‑olds are entitled to funded childcare, depending on family circumstances (for example income‑related benefits or additional support needs). This provides 15 funded hours per week (term time).
🧒 Funding for 3‑ and 4‑year‑oldsAll children aged 3 and 4 years are entitled to:
  • 15 funded hours per week (universal entitlement)
  • Up to 30 funded hours per week for eligible working parents
These funded hours are available for 38 weeks per year (term time).

Funded hours:
  • Are paid for by the government
  • Are provided free of charge to entitled families
  • Can be used for early education and childcare sessions at our nursery
You are not charged for the funded hours themselves.

Optional Charges
While funded hours are free, if your child is entitled to 15 hours free childcare and you would like to do additional hours these are charged at £15 per week. Additional hours are not compulsory.

If you chose to do additional hours these are shown separately on invoices and can be opted out of where possible.

We do not charge any other optional charges.

Using Your Funded Hours at Our Nursery
  • Funded hours are taken during term time (38 weeks per year)
  • Hours can be spread across the week to suit your needs
  • Any hours above your funded entitlement are charged at our standard rates
We will always explain how your funding is being used and provide a clear breakdown.

Checking Eligibility and ApplyingEligibility for funded childcare is confirmed by the government and Brent Council.

To find out more about funding, please sign up on the Government Childcare Choices Website or come in and speak with a member of staff who will be able to help you. We are happy to help guide parents through this process.

Important Notes
  • Funding start dates depend on your child’s age and when eligibility is confirmed
  • Funding rules are set by the Department for Education and administered by Brent Council
  • Funding cannot be used to cover optional extras or non‑childcare service.
Our weekly fees for those children who don't receive free childcare, is £60.00, 9:15am to 1:pm Monday to Friday.

We are open 38 weeks of the year, term time only.

If you would like more information, please come in and see us to discuss anything relating to the hours we are open and fees. We have got all the answers!
